Bike MS: Los Angeles Coastal Challenge 2023

Saturday June 24th the Santa Clarita VELO Bicycle Club will be participating in the Bike MS: Los Angeles Coastal Challenge ride. We have and continue to recruit members to join us on this awesome route from Santa Monica to Ventura and BACK!

That’s right, we’ll be riding the 62 miles to the finish with SAG support along the way and then back to whence we came with strategic rest stops as needed for a total of 124 miles.

From the organizers: Actual distance 61.6. Enjoy views of the the iconic Santa Monica Pier and glide past the most celebrated beaches of Malibu like Surfrider and Leo Carillo Rest Stops. All details here.

Starting Point: Santa Monica Business Park – 2950 31st St, Santa Monica, CA 90405
• 5:00 am parking lot opens. (Parking at Santa Monica Business Park is $20 and must be pre-purchased here).
• 5:30 am – 7:00 am Registration, luggage drop-off, mechanics available, and breakfast.
• 6:40 am Program begins.
• 7:00 am Ride begins.
• LUNCH SERVED ON ROUTE 9:00 am – 12:30 pm.
• Lunch rest stop closes at 1:30 pm.
