DESCRIPTION:Since it will be cooler this Saturday\, let’s meet at 8am in the parking lot with our friends in CBS to start our ride. We’ll roll out together\, heading east on Magic Mountain Parkway to The Old Road\, then turn north on the 126 via Commerce Center Drive and Franklin Parkway. Let’s watch out for each other by pointing out any road hazards along the way. We’ll break into smaller groups once we get to Guiberson Road to ride safely. At the end of Guiberson\, we’ll regroup before climbing Grimes Canyon. After regrouping at the top\, we’ll descend into Fillmore to refuel at the 76 station. Then it’s time to head west\, climbing up and over Spring Road to Los Angeles Avenue\, rolling through town to the base of the Santa Susana Pass. We’ll regroup one last time at the summit before enjoying the downhill through Chatsworth. We’ll take Rinaldi south to Balboa and ride north back to Foothill Blvd\, then head west on Sierra Highway and complete the loop. Tired but triumphant\, we’ll meet up with friends afterwards this Saturday for coffee or Jamba Juice to celebrate a great ride.

Turn right on Rinaldi and as a group head to Canoga Ave and over to Santa Susana. Regroup at the top of Santa Susana before descending down. Remember\, do NOT cross the yellow center line. As a group continue on Angeles Ave to Spring St. Refuel stop at the 76 station before heading up and over to Grimes. Regroup near the top of Grimes and descend again NOT cross the yellow center line. Regroup at the right turn on Guiberson. Endurance pace back to Santa Clarita via the 126. Please remember to point out items on the roadway. Hope you will join us for a fun filled day on the bike. Meet up spot is the usual McD’s/TJMaxx lot and we’ll head out McBean>Newhall Ranch>Soledad to Bouquet Cny Rd. We’ll ride as a group up Bouquet and regroup at the top of the reservoir\, then onto Spunky and the Green Valley store for refueling. Back on the road to San Fran (North)\, regroup at the top of the climb then down Lake Elizabeth Rd to Lake Hughes Rd. Regroup at the top of 3 mile climb and once more at the 4 way stop in Castaic before heading back into town via The Old Road/bike path. Hope to see you there.

Basically\, 126 to Guiberson to Grimes to Broadway\, Walnut\, and Spring Road. Refuel at the 76 station. Head up Spring St to Tierra Rejada Rd to LA Ave and climb up and over Santa Susana. Regroup at the top of climbs. Back home via Rinaldi and Balboa. Then Foothill\, Sierra\, and Newhall Ave home. It’s suggested to ice up an extra bottle. Hope to see you there!
